The Vision

Restore dignity. Build opportunity.

Philanthropy restores dignity and access. Enterprise builds lasting opportunity. I M brings both together through responsible, locally beneficial development, in Sierra Leone and beyond.

01

Restoration and philanthropy

Restore dignity, access, care, and opportunity for people and communities affected by conflict and displacement: shelter and provision, education and skills, disability inclusion, support for amputees and displaced families, and dignified paths forward for young people.

02

Enterprise and development

Build commercially viable hospitality, production, retail, infrastructure, and land-development pathways that create durable value, employment, and long-term opportunity, with local participation and benefit at the center.

Where the work lives

01

Community restoration

Support for communities carrying Sierra Leone’s civil-war and conflict-diamond legacy: shelter and provision, education and skills pathways, disability inclusion, and support for amputees and displaced families. The first work taking shape: a service that turns money sent from abroad into verified essentials, water and power delivered to named families in Freetown, with consent, proof, and dignity.

02

Responsible land and community development

Inherited and acquired land interests, subject to diligence, considered for hospitality, commerce, housing, community services, and infrastructure, through community-centered planning, responsible stewardship, and local participation and benefit.

03

Hospitality and diaspora connection

Welcoming, high-quality visitor experiences in Sierra Leone: cultural connection for the diaspora, visitor confidence, local commerce, job creation, and respectful international access.

04

MIA · Made in Africa

Design, tailoring, and craftsmanship: custom clothing in quality African fabrics, ethical production, training for local tailors and makers, and globally relevant African-made goods, built with the care of established handmade traditions.

05

Self-sustaining communities

The long view: communities that combine education, production, retail, faith spaces serving different communities, reliable infrastructure and power, and jobs, serving residents, diaspora, visitors, and neighbors alike.

This is long-term vision, not finished work. It requires aligned partners, diligence, planning, capital, and local collaboration. That is why The Table exists.
